marina real 221 Manilva - Apartamento

We stayed in Marina Real 221 last year. We liked it so much that we booked it again. It is a great location and if you like people watching sitting on the balcony is for you. However , my last review recommended a shower screen. That was ignored so you are still unable to take a proper shower. But worse than that the main bathroom smelt of sewage and some days was unusable. There was also the smell as you entered the building. When I complained about it I was told that there was a problem with the block and there was nothing they could do. We didn’t experience this last time or the 5 weeks we spent last year on the other side of the block. But it certainly spoilt this holiday. Saying that Duquesa is a lovely place to visit and we will go back again but to a different property.

We stayed for 5 weeks in May on the other side of the Marina Real as was advised it was quieter. However, this time we wanted to enjoy a better view so went for 221 We we’re not disappointed. Great view, people watching and listen to the music from the balcony. When we retired to bed, which was on the other side of the apartment you couldn’t hear a thing. The only thing with the bedroom being pool side is you get woken up sometimes by the selfish brigade drunk and shouting. But that only happened twice. When we arrived there were only two towels each (1 bath towel 1 hand towel) and nothing for the pool. Some extra ones were brought up on request, but maybe worth mentioning it when booking. The apartment was good value for money, very clean and nicely equipped also had good wifi. And finally the weirdest thing was there was no shower screen. I can’t understand why. But hopefully the owner will supply one after reading this. Otherwise bring your own shower curtain 🤣 . We would definitely book again. Thank you.
